Jack F. Treanor, president and chief operating officer of The Washington Trust Co., has been appointed to the board of directors of The Beacon Mutual Insurance Co. by Gov. Donald L. Carcieri.
He joined Washington Trust in 1999 and has more than 30 years of banking experience.
Treanor has a bachelor’s degree from St. Anselm College in Manchester, N.H., and a master’s degree from Suffolk University in Boston.
