David J. Correira was the featured speaker and panelist at the Annual Institute
of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
His presentations dealt with estate and gift taxes and law office design and management.
He concentrates his private practice of law in the areas of wills and trusts,
estate planning, elder law and probate law. He has offices in Providence and Swansea,
Massachusetts. Correira received his bachelor degree from Bridgewater State College,
master of public administration degree from the University of Rhode Island and
his Juris Doctor degree from the New England School of Law in Boston. He has also
completed advanced studies through the American Law Institute, Philadelphia; Harvard
Law School, Cambridge; Boston University Law School in the graduate tax program;
and the University of Miami School of Law Institute in estate planning. He is
a member of the American, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Fall River and Bristol
County Bar Associations.
