Mary Marran has been named associate vice president of patient care services at Butler Hospital in Providence. She assumes administrative direction of patient assessment services. Marran has been with the hospital for 19 years. She was the 2001 recipient of the hospital’s Employee of the Year award. She received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of New Hampshire. Marran lives in Greenville.
