The Providence Department of Planning and Development will hold the next Neighborhood Investment Strategy for the residents of Smith Hill neighborhood on Monday, April 5, at 7 p.m. at Times2 Academy, located at 50 Fillmore Street in Providence.
The planning department is the process of creating Neighborhood Investment Strategies for all of the city’s 25 neighborhoods, using suggestions and comments from residents of those neighborhoods. Mayor David Cicilline and Councilman Terrence Hassett said in a release that they also planned to attend the meeting.

These strategies will serve as a guide for development and redevelopment of the neighborhoods, as the mayor moves ahead in his plans to strengthen the city’s neighborhoods.
