PeaceLove Studios will present the second annual Get Your PeaceLove On gala from 6 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1. The event will honor Pawtucket Mayor Donald R. Grebien for his support of the arts and mental health, and will also include live music, food, a silent auction and more. WELCOME HOME FUNDRAISER
The East Bay Community Action Program will raise money to support the East Bay Coalition for the Homeless with the Welcome Home Fundraiser. The fundraiser will take place at the Rhode Island Country Club, 150 Nayatt Road, Barrington starting at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 4. Attendees will be able to enjoy a cocktail and dinner reception, silent auction and live music. Proceeds will support East Bay individuals and families who are in need of shelter and social services. SWING INTO SPRING
The Kent Center’s second annual Swing Into Spring Celebration will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 4, in the garden pavilion at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Providence-Warwick, 801 Greenwich Ave., Warwick. The highlight of the evening will be a concert featuring The Beantown Swing Orchestra. Professional swing dancers will be on hand to help attendees learn how to swing dance.
