Robert C. Deckert has been promoted to vice president of telecommunications at The Washington Trust Co. He joined the bank’s technology department in 1998 and was promoted to telecommunications systems manager a year later and to assistant vice president in 2001.
He has also played a key role in the network integration of acquisitions and branch expansion projects. He will oversee management of voice and data communications systems.
