Terra Lycos loses U.S. executive after CEO departure

WALTHAM, Mass. (Bloomberg) — Terra Lycos SA lost another top U.S. manager following the departure of Chief Executive Bob Davis and less than four months after Terra Networks SA completed its $6.5 billion purchase of Lycos Inc. Ron Sege, president of U.S. operations at Terra Lycos, said he left to become chief executive of closely held Ellacoya Networks Inc. Prior to Terra’s purchase, Sege, 43, was executive vice president of the Internet search service. He said in an interview that he decided to leave because he wanted the challenge of building a smaller company rather than because of any problems with Terra Lycos’ new management.
