TJX declares quarterly dividend

FRAMINGHAM, MASS. — The board of directors for retailer TJX Companies, Inc. has declared a regular quarterly dividend on its common stock of 4.5 cents per share, payable on August 30 to shareholders of record on August 9.

TJX operates T.J. Maxx, Marshalls and A.J. Wright and HomeGoods stores in the U.S., and Winners and HomeSense stores in Canada. The company operates T.K. Maxx stores in Europe.

Shares of TJX closed up 72 cents yesterday, at $33.69. Shares have traded as low as $15.81 and as high as $35.51 during the last 52 weeks.
