MIDDLETOWN – WiMax service provider Towerstream today announced the addition to its board of directors of William Bush and Paul Koehler.
Bush brings more than 15 years experience in accounting, financial support and business development. The chief financial officer and assistant secretary of Handheld Entertainment, he previously had worked at Broadcaster Inc., Buzzsaw.com, where he was a founding member, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Koehler, who brings more than 20 years experience in the electricity and renewable fuels industries, is vice president of business development at Pacific Ethanol Inc. He previously had worked at PPM Energy Inc., and had founded Kinergy LLC and ReEnergy.
“Together, they bring years of experience in emerging markets and technology, and can help guide Towerstream to a new level of industry leadership,” CEO Jeff Thompson said in a statement today.
It’s been a busy few weeks for the company, whose shares began trading on NASD’s Over-The-Counter Bulletin Board on Jan. 26. On Jan. 30, Towerstream launched its Hi-Vi T1+ service in the Seattle area – after acquiring a wireless broadband network there from Speakeasy, a voice- and data-services provider focusing on small business – and announced plans to partner with Speakeasy in providing fixed wireless broadband service in major cities nationwide.
