Warwick manufacturer acquires Calif. firm

Warwick-based ATW Companies announced that it has acquired Parmatech Corporation, a Petaluma, Calif., subsidiary of Carpenter Technology Corporation, based in Wyomissing, Pa.

Parmatech is a manufacturer of metal injection molding components.

“As part of our external growth program, we identified metal injection molding as a technology that would be additive to our business, broadening our value-added metal processing capabilities and opening new doors for the future,” said Fred Frost, ATW’s chairman.

ATW, founded in 1886, provides precision metal tubing and fabricate metal components to a variety of industries. It also owns Judson A. Smith Company in Boyertown, Pa. And A.T. Wall Company in Warwick.
