Jason Iacovelli has been promoted to director of construction management, a newly created position, at O. Ahlborg & Sons Inc. in Cranston. He has been with the company since 1997. Iacovelli received a bachelor’s degree from Roger Williams University. He and his family live in Jamestown.

Iacovelli: Increased volume in the construction management segment of our firm, and more extensive document control and management reporting systems.
PBN: What exactly do you do?
Iacovelli: Oversee the project managers and field staff throughout our entire construction management delivery system.
PBN: What projects is your company currently involved in?
Iacovelli: We currently have approximately 12 projects under construction. Highlighted projects include: New England Tech automotive facility visible from Route 95 in Warwick; Promenade at the Foundry apartments, also visible from 95 in Providence; Inskip Lexus and Mercedes on Bald Hill Road in Warwick; and the Pawtucket Regional Water Treatment Facility, also visible from 95.
PBN: What advances have occurred in construction over the past few years?
Iacovelli: Significant technological innovation, including advanced scheduling and tracking systems, the greater use of design-build delivery systems.
