K. Douglas Shaker has been appointed marine account manager in the Marine Insurance Department at Gencorp Insurance Group. Prior to joining Gencorp, Shaker worked for 10 years at Travelers Insurance Co., where he specialized in commercial ocean marine business. He holds an associate’s degree from Bristol Community College and a bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College, both in business administration. •
