Joyce Stevos has been appointed to the board of directors for the Rhode Island Black Heritage Society. She currently serves as president of the board for the Trinity Academy of the Performing Arts Charter School. Stevos has also served as a consultant in developing the school for performing arts. She is a Rhode Island native. •
