Dr. Troyen A. Brennan has been appointed to the board of directors at the Rhode Island Quality Institute. Brennan serves as executive vice president and chief medical officer of CVS Caremark Corp., where he directs clinical affairs and oversees strategy development. Prior to this role, Brennan served as chief medical officer of Aetna Inc. He also served as president and CEO of Brigham and Women’s Physician’s Organization. •
