Diane L. Lynch has been appointed assistant vice president, consumer lending for The Washington Trust Company. She is responsible for managing the centralized consumer closing group and for approval authority of Internet and telephone loan applications. Lynch has been with the bank since 1982, most recently as assistant manager, consumer credit. She and her family live in Westerly.
