Diane Karcz has been promoted to assistant vice president, human resources at Bank of Newport. She joined the bank in 1999 and is responsible for the recruiting and corporate training of all bank employees. Karcz is a member of the Human Resource Management Association of Rhode Island, the American Society for Training and Development, the society of resource management and the Employment Management Association. A resident of Warren, Karcz received a bachelor’s degree from Johnson & Wales University.
