Frederick E. Goff, Jr. has been named executive director of public affairs at Roger Williams University. He will be responsible for overseeing all university interaction with local, regional and national news media. He will also play a primary role in the conceptualization and production of major university publications and support of the senior management in the development of strategic communication objectives. He was formerly employed in senior communication positions at the Rhode Island School of Design and Salve Regina University. Goff earned his bachelor of arts degree in history at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and his master of arts degree in management at Salve Regina University. He is a resident of Rumford.
