Gene-Michael Addi has been named general manager at the Vanderbilt Hall Hotel in Newport. He has been in the hospitality field for 15 years. He was formerly employed at Grand Heritage Hotels as director of catering at the Historic Inns of Annapolis and international director of sales. He most recently served as vice president of sales and marketing at MeetingMatrix International, an event planning software specialty company.
