Domenic Delmonico has been appointed vice president for health plan and PHO network
management at the Care New England Health System, parent organization of Butler,
Kent and Women & Infants Hospitals, the VNA of Care New England and the Care
New England Wellness Centers. He will manage both Care New England’s risk-based
health insurance plan and the system’s physician-hospital organizations. He previously
served as regional manager at CliniCare, Inc.; vice president of regional business
operations and director of hospital and physician contracting at Harvard Pilgrim
Health Care of New England and vice president of operations and CEO at PPO Health
Advantage. Delmonico is a graduate of Bryant College with undergraduate and master’s
degrees in business. He is a fellow and certified managed care professional of
the Healthcare Financial Management Association, an editor for Healthcare Financial
Management periodicals, and a member of the of the Rhode Island Society of Certified
Public Accountants. He resides in North Scituate.
