NEWPORT (Businesswire) — GP Strategies Corporation’s wholly owned operating subsidiary General Physics (GP) said its Process and Energy Group had won a significant, five year contract with the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, RI. The contract encompasses Material Inventory Management, Related Web-Based Administration and Life-Cycle Support for the Warfare Center’s Torpedo programs. General Physics will be providing the Navy with highly skilled individuals in Program and Project Management, Logistics and Warehousing. “The project scope is estimated at 11,500 man-hours per year for a total of 57,500 over the contract life,” adds Richard Beplat, New England Director of Technical Services for GP.
