The price of a local gallon of gasoline has risen 4 cents per gallon within the last week, according to AAA Southern New England.
According to AAA’s most recent survey of Rhode Island gasoline prices, the increase has driven the average price per gallon of self-serve, regular unleaded gasoline to $1.62.
The average price per gallon of self-serve, midgrade gasoline is $1.72; for premium, $1.80; and for diesel, $1.67. The average price per gallon of full-serve regular gasoline is $1.71; for midgrade, $1.81; for premium, $1.91; and for diesel, $1.72.
