Marie Cox has joined People’s Credit Union as accounting manager. She will manage operations of the accounting department. Cox has been working in the accounting field for over ten years, most recently as accounting manager for Milton Hospital. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Providence College. She resides in Portsmouth with her husband Philip.

Kevin G. Morley
Kevin G. Morley has joined Sells/Greene Building Company, LLC of Wrentham, Mass. as estimator. The company is a general contracting and construction management firm with projects throughout Rhode Island and eastern Massachusetts. He will be responsible for all aspects of estimating, business development and subcontractor relations. Morley has previously served as estimator, project manager and estimating trainer in the construction industry for the past 30 years. He graduated with a bachelor of arts in mechanical engineering from the Wentworth Institute of Technology.

 

 

 

EDUCATION

Sharon Doyle
Sharon Doyle has joined Providence Country Day as director of development. She previously was director of planned giving at the Nature Conservancy and vice president in charge of major gifts and planned giving for United Way of Southeastern New England. She resides in Barrington with her husband and two children. She is a graduate of Providence College and is a former elementary and public school teacher.

 

 

 

Dr. Richard J. Kosh has been promoted to the newly created position of University Provost at Johnson & Wales University. He will be the chief academic officer at the University and will have system-wide responsibility for enhancing and maintaining Johnson & Wales’ standards as well as oversight responsibilities for all of the school’s accreditation efforts. He will work closely with the presidents and the academic officers at each campus on academic quality control and consistency. Kosh has held numerous positions at the University since joining its staff in 1974. Most recently, he served in the dual position as senior vice president of academic affairs University-wide and vice president of the North Miami campus. He is a resident of West Warwick.

ENGINEERING

Michael P. Sousa
Michael P. Sousa, P.E. has been appointed vice president and stockholder at Fuss & O’Neill, Inc. He is the current director of the firm’s East Providence office. He has been responsible for the overall management of a wide variety of civil engineering infrastructure projects and commercial developments. Sousa is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in civil/environmental engineering and is a licensed professional engineer in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut. He resides in Barrington with his wife Dee and their three children.

 

HEALTH CARE

Michael J. Ryan
Michael J. Ryan has been promoted to senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. He previously served as vice president of strategic planning and business development for ten years as well as vice president of the Memorial Physician Hospital Organization, Inc. and administrator of the department of medical rehabilitation. Ryan was formerly employed at the Providence Ambulatory Health Care Foundation, Inc., where he was director of finance. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Allegheny College and a Master’s degree in business administration from Boston University. He is a resident of Newport.

 

Susan B. Fletcher
Susan B. Fletcher has been named senior account executive for EvoCare/American HomePatient in East Providence. She was formerly employed as client service manager at a national health care billing and management company located in Pennsylvania. She received her bachelor’s degree from Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. She is a resident of Jamestown.

 

 

 

 

HUMAN RESOURCES

Gloria Hole
Gloria Hole has been appointed center manager at the newly opened netWORKri One-Stop Career Center in West Warwick. She was previously employed for 18 years at the Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights where she investigated hundreds of cases of employment discrimination. Hole also served as an employment and training manager for the Department of Labor and Training and most recently as manager in the Warren, Pawtucket and West Warwick netWORKri career centers. She is a graduate of Michigan State University and resides in Wyoming.

 

INSURANCE

Diana Vieira-DeSilva
Diana Vieira-DeSilva has been named manager of customer service and sales at New England Benefit Companies, Inc. (NEBCO). She will be responsible for all aspects of client relations at NEBCO including claim inquiries, benefit explanations, new individual sales and service as well as developing and managing the customer service department. Vieira-DeSilva has been involved in group insurance sales and account management in the HMO industry for 15 years, as both an individual producer and account management supervisor. She also served as a human resource professional. She holds a bachelor of science degree in education from Rhode Island College.

 

 

 

Richard A. Sinnigen
Richard A. Sinnigen has been elected secretary of The Providence Mutual Fire Insurance Company and Grange Mutual Insurance Company. He will be responsible for recording and holding corporate minutes, sealing corporate legal documents and overseeing the conformance of the company by-laws with regulatory bodies and corporate licensing. Sinnigen joined The Providence Mutual Fire Insurance Company in 1978 and was elected assistant treasurer in 1983. He graduated from Providence College with a bachelor of science degree in business accounting.
