G. David Parent has been appointed to the board of directors of the Rhode Island Society of Financial Service Professionals for a three-year term. He has been a member for 32 years. Parent is a member of the East Greenwich Chamber of Commerce and the Rhode Island Golf Association. He holds the designations of chartered life underwriter and chartered financial consultant. Parent lives in East Greenwich.
