GTech gets vending contract in Mexico

GTECH Holdings Corporation today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, GTECH Corp., has been selected by Pronosticos para la Asistencia Publica (Pronosticos) as the apparent successful vendor to provide equipment and services for a new online lottery system and associated telecommunications network in Mexico under a proposed six-year contract. This decision is the
result of a competitive procurement.

The Request for Proposal calls for the replacement of Pronosticos’ existing system with new central system hardware and software. In addition, Pronosticos intends to replace its current terminal equipment and telecommunications network.
