GTECH has announced that it has signed a five-year contract to supply a
new video lottery central computer system for the Rhode Island Lottery.
The contract, which follows a competitive procurement and includes five
one-year extension options, is expected to commence on August 28,
2002.

customers,” said GTECH Chief Executive Officer and President Howard S.
Cohen. “We look forward to broadening our relationship with the Rhode
Island Lottery and to enhancing its video lottery operation with our
