Mark A. Shaw, president and CEO of AAA Southern New England, has been elected to the Automobile Association of America’s national board of directors. He began his career with AAA in 1981 as controller. Since then, Shaw has held many positions of increasing responsibility. He will also serve on the strategic business committee. Shaw is a member of the board of trustees of the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, the Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council and the Rhode Island Blood Center. He is also the treasurer and past chairman of the Northeastern Conference of AAA/CAA clubs. Shaw lives with his family in Riverside.
