David DePetrillo, director of the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation’s (RIEDC) tourism division, has been selected to serve as chairman of the government affairs committee at the Travel Industry Association of America (TIA). The TIA’s government affairs committee advises and assists the association in the planning, development and implementation of the travel industry’s legislative and public affairs agenda. DePetrillo has served as RIEDC’s tourism director since 1983. He is a resident of East Greenwich.
