Judicial Web site
makes debut

PROVIDENCE – Rhode Island Supreme Court Chief Justice Frank J. Williams on June 17 unveiled the Rhode Island Judiciary’s new Web site, www.ricourts.com, which is designed to allow easier public access to court information.

The enhancements should allow the public to find upcoming court dates on the adult criminal court calendar via a new "Electronic Calendar" application, download court forms and instructions and access court news, official opinions and orders. The Electronic Calendar is the most anticipated addition, according to the Rhode Island Judiciary, providing easy access to daily criminal-court calendars throughout the state.

Williams promised to continue enhancing the Web site in an effort to make court information more accessible to the public.
