Dear Area Business Owners and Managers,
We are offering you a fantastic opportunity to promote your business and participate in a large local event. This important event is being planned to assist an amazing and active family within our community that is battling an unfortunate series of medical issues.
The Rev. Jean Russo-Parks is the pastor at Wesley United Methodist Church in
Lincoln. She and her husband, Paul Parks Jr., live in Cumberland with their 14
year old twins. They have strong ties to both communities. Jean was recently diagnosed with inoperable pancreatic cancer. Within a few weeks of this diagnosis, Paul suffered a major heart attack. They have been hit with two catastrophic illnesses at once. Wesley United Methodist Church is organizing
the “Walking to Wellness for the Parks Family” walk-a-thon to help raise funds for the Parks’ numerous out-of-pocket medical bills and related expenses.
We are asking local businesses to sponsor this event. By becoming a sponsor, your business will benefit from advertising, promotion and visibility to a significant number of people from northern Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts.
There are several ways your business can participate. You can make a cash donation, provide food/beverages or donate an item of value for the silent auction/door prize. Will you help?
