Stephen Houston has been named to the board of trustees for the Providence Public Library (PPL). Houston is a professor of archaeology and of anthropology at Brown University. He has been selected as a Fellow of the National Endowment for the Humanities, the American Philosophical Society and the Guggenheim Foundation. In 2008, he was selected as a MacArthur Fellow. •
