Thomas Lawrence has been appointed education foundation director for The Rhode Island Hospitality and Tourism Association. He is responsible for planning and administering the educational activities conducted by the association. Lawrence also acts as a liaison between the industry and academic communities in Rhode Island as well as the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation and the American Hotel and Motel Association Educational Institute. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College. Lawrence lives in Coventry.
