ACCOUNTING

Emily Black has been hired as a staff accountant at Rooney, Plotkin & Willey. She previously worked for Sonalysts, Inc. of Middletown. Black served in the Navy for 16 years, and retired as director of the Naval Communication School in Newport. She has an undergraduate degree from Wellesley College and completed coursework in accounting at the University of Rhode Island. She has a master’s degree in computer science from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. Black lives in Middletown and will work in the Newport office of RPW.
