Alan Birch has been named information systems trainer/help desk of Visiting Nurse Home Care. Birch has more than 30 years experience teaching computer sciences. In his new role, he will provide technical support and maintain and deliver training programs for key business systems. Birch was previously an IT coordinator at Rhode Island Parent Information Network. He has a bachelor’s degree in industrial education from Rhode Island College. •
