Art Lake has been honored with the Gold Circle Award by the New England Chapter of th National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The award recognizes television professionals who have spent fifty years or more in the industry. Lake has been with NBC 10 for more than 60 years. Over the years, he has received many awards including The Rhode Island Historical Society’s History Maker’s Salute in 1999 and an induction into the Rhode Island Heritage Hall of Fame in 2003.
