Azim Mezagonwalla, an audit supervisor at Sansiveri, Kimball & McNamee, has been selected as the recipient of the 2002 Business Volunteers for the Arts/RI Volunteer of the Year Award. He has been a BVA volunteer since 1997 and has served many arts organizations, among them Cadence Dance Project, Centercity Contemporary Arts, Expansion Arts, Festival Ballet, Island Moving Company, Living Literature, the Music School, the Writers Project, Youth in Action, Newgate Theatre and the Perishable Theatre. He also volunteers for the United Way, March of Dimes, the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce and the Aga Khan Education Board.
