Karen J. Penta has joined FIRSTFED Trust Company as senior investment assistant.
She will work out of the company’s Providence office at 40 Westminster Street
and will be responsible for assisting the chief investment officer with all aspects
of the investment process. Penta received an associate’s degree from the Community
College of Rhode Island and is working toward a bachelor’s degree in finance at
Providence College. She is a registered investment advisor and has earned a general
banking certificate from the American Institute of Banking. She resides in Warwick
with her husband and two children.
