Robert A. Skurka has been named senior vice president at First Federal Savings Bank of America (FIRSTFED). He is the bank’s senior commercial lender and will direct all commercial lending in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and oversee its business loan portfolio. Skurka joined FIRSTFED in 1995 as director of business banking. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island and holds a master’s in business administration from Bryant College. He is president of the New England chapter of the Risk Management Association (RMA), a director of SEED corporation, and a volunteer for Easter Seals of Massachusetts. He resides in Seekonk with his wife and three children.
