Scott Kaplan has been appointed manager of First Bank and Trust Company’s North Kingstown branch. His responsibilities will include managing sales, service and daily operations of the full-service branch. Kaplan was formerly employed as operations manager at Savers in East Providence, general manager at Rainbow Bakery, Inc. of Cranston from 1996 to 1999 and as department supervisor at Circuit City Stores of Seekonk, Mass. from 1993 to 1996. He is a graduate of St. Dunstan’s Day School, Providence.
