Barbara J. Perino has been appointed executive vice president, operations and technology, for Washington Trust. She has held positions in accounting, finance, operations and technology since joining the bank in 1988. In 2009, Perino was named an Elite 8 bank-technology executive by Bank Systems & Technology magazine. A certified public accountant, she holds a B.S. in accountancy from the University of Illinois. •
