Barbara S. Cottam has been appointed senior vice president and director of corporate communications for Citizens Financial Group Inc. She is responsible for all media relations corporate-wide, working closely with state public affairs directors in New England and the Mid-Atlantic region. Cottam also oversees the internal communications group, with responsibility for all corporate-wide internal communications functions. She will continue to serve as director of Citizens Rhode Island Public Affairs Group.
