Barbara Wenk has been named vice president, merchant services for The Washington
Trust Company. She is responsible for the bank’s merchant services product
line and manages a team of business development and service professionals. Wenk
joined the bank as assistant vice president, merchant services in October of
2001. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire and
a teaching certificate from the University of Connecticut. Wenk is a resident
of Pawcatuck, Conn.
