Bernadette R. Hawes has been named to the board of directors for the Rhode Island Quality Institute. She currently serves as a customer service supervisor for Astro-Med Inc. In that role, she serves as the contract manager of product accounts performing contract reviews and ensuring all clauses and quality assurance codes guarantee compliance. She has a B.A. from Southeastern Massachusetts University. •
