Bob Briden has been named vice president and general manager of Trident Mortgage Corporation in East Providence. He was formerly vice president of specialized lending in the mortgage division at Citizens Bank. In his new role, Briden oversees day-to-day operations for the mortgage banking operation and manages staff in two locations. Briden also manages emerging markets and future expansion. He was educated at the University of Hawaii, Community College of Rhode Island and attended the Bryant College Center of Management. Briden lives in Warwick.
