Bruce D. Sutcliffe has been named vice president and commercial lender for Slade’s Ferry Bank in Somerset, Mass. He was formerly an independent business consultant to financial institutions for 19 years. Sutcliffe is a graduate of Northeastern University and completed the bank-marketing curriculum at the University of Colorado and the University of New Hampshire’s commercial loan school.
