Chino Rao has been appointed vice president/distributed applications manager in server support at Providence-based Citizens Bank. He was previously a professional services consultant at EMC in Newton, Mass. Rao has a bachelor’s degree in applied physics from the University of Bradford in Yorkshire, England, and a Ph.D. in digital simulation from the University of London. He lives in Brookline, Mass.
