Cisco instructors honored

WARWICK, R.I. — On May 3, Atrion Networking Corporation and the Information Technology
Academy (ITA) hosted a Teacher Appreciation Day to honor Cisco Academy instructors
from high schools from around the state. The host for the event was Dr. Peter
Woodbury of the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI), who spearheaded the
effort to make CCRI the Regional Academy and is a founding partner of the ITA.
Guest speakers included Atrion Chief Executive Officer Charlie Nault, who gave
the instructors a tour of the company to give them a first hand look at the day
to day work of Cisco Academy alumni. CCRI is the Regional Academy for Rhode Island’s
Cisco Academy program administered and supported by the Information Technology
Academy.
