Claudia E. Swain has been named director of major and planned gifts at South County Hospital. Her responsibilities include matching donor desires to the hospital’s needs and expanding the culture of fundraising in the community. Swain previously worked as director of development at the South Kingstown Land Trust. She is currently pursuing a fundraising executive certification through the Association for Fundraising Professionals. •
