Col. Steven M. Paré

Col. Steven M. Paré, superintendent of the R.I. State Police, has received a Neil J. Houston Memorial Award for service to the criminal justice profession and the public interest. A criminal justice graduate of Bryant University, he has a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Rhode Island. Paré is also a graduate of the R.I. State Police Training Academy and the FBI National Academy.
