Daniel M. Silverman has been appointed assistant vice president and branch manager at Bank of Newport’s Middletown branch. He is responsible for branch operations, business development and staff development. Silverman joined the bank in 1998. He holds a Rhode Island Life and Health Insurance Producers License. Silverman is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Silverman and his family live in East Greenwich.
