David M. Dooley has been appointed to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s newly formed Homeland Security Academic Advisory Council. Dooley is president of the University of Rhode Island. He will serve on the council for two years, where he will participate in advising the Department of Homeland Security on matters related to the recruitment of students and recent graduates, academic research, security and more. •
